Welcome to Carstairs, a service operated by truelog OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

Carstairs is a personal assistant service powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies. The service is accessible via email, WhatsApp, and SMS. Carstairs can help with reminders, research, calendar management, writing assistance, and general questions. The service is provided on an "as is" basis during our beta period.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Carstairs. By using our service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to agree to these terms.

3. Account and Access

During the closed beta period:

• Access is by invitation only
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You agree not to share your access with others

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Carstairs to:

• Send spam or unsolicited communications
• Harass, threaten, or harm others
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit malware or malicious content

5. Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of the emails you send to Carstairs. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing our service. Generated drafts and responses are provided for your use and editing.

6. Automated Processing & Machine Learning

Carstairs uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies (including large language models) to process your requests and generate responses. By using our service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Automated responses: All responses, drafts, summaries, and assistance provided by Carstairs are generated by automated systems, not human operators
• Potential inaccuracies: Machine learning systems may produce content that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate for your specific situation
• Human review required: You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all content generated by Carstairs before use or distribution
• Not a replacement for professional judgment: Carstairs is a productivity tool designed to assist with tasks, not a substitute for your own judgment or professional advice

7. Not Professional Advice

Carstairs does not provide professional advice of any kind. The service is not a substitute for:

• The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Generated content will be accurate, complete, reliable, appropriate, or suitable for any purpose
• The service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
• Any errors in the service will be corrected
• Generated content will be free from bias, errors, or inappropriate material

IMPORTANT: You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing all content generated by Carstairs before use, distribution, or reliance. Do not send, publish, or act upon generated content without human review.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, truelog OÜ and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

You agree that your use of the service is at your sole risk. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Carstairs at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Beta Service

Carstairs is currently in closed beta. This means:

• Features may change without notice
• The service may have bugs or limitations
• We appreciate your feedback to improve the service

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
